Travel, Identification, and Packing
The troop will coordinate group transportation to and from Florida. Travel arrangements may include commercial airline flights, rental vehicles, group transportation, hotel accommodations, and group meals during travel. Flight times, airlines, airports, hotel information, and final transportation arrangements will be provided when confirmed.
Participants and families should understand that travel schedules are subject to airline schedules, weather, mechanical issues, delays, cancellations, and other circumstances beyond the troop's control. Participants are expected to follow all instructions regarding baggage, identification, meeting locations, airport security, and group travel.
Participants will need appropriate identification and travel documents for air travel, transportation, and Sea Base check-in. Families will be responsible for providing any identification or other documents required by the airline, Sea Base, and applicable transportation authorities. Final travel-document requirements and instructions will be provided by the troop before departure based on the requirements in effect for the July 2028 trip.
Detailed packing and personal equipment lists will be provided at a later date. The final packing list provided by the troop and/or Sea Base closer to the time of the trip. Participants should pack carefully and label personal belongings. The troop cannot guarantee recovery of lost or misplaced personal property.
