Scouts, are you ready to take serious steps toward earning Eagle (Ages 14-17)?
Eagle Flight 2026 is an elite, high-impact program designed for motivated First Class Scouts and above who are age 14 or older and determined to reach the rank of Eagle Scout. Whether you are highly active with school and sports or looking to re-engage and refocus on Scouting, Eagle Flight is built to help you succeed.
This is not a typical summer camp. Eagle Flight offers all Eagle required merit badges, plus more than 20 additional merit badges, taught by experienced, council-approved merit badge counselors. Scouts begin working with counselors months in advance, attend monthly progress meetings starting in February, and then participate in an intensive camp week with up to 16 extended merit badge sessions. You earn every badge you receive, and partials are given when appropriate, ensuring high standards and real achievement.
Eagle Flight is also about leadership and Scouting skills. Evening programs include Scout heritage activities, competitions, skill refreshers, and Scout-led troop operations that build confidence and strengthen your ability to lead back in your home troop.
Many Scouts leave Eagle Flight re-energized, focused, and well on their way to Eagle.

Jamboree is more than a destination. It’s the adventure of lifetime. And there is simply nothing else like it on the planet.
What’s a Jamboree? It’s not camp. National Jamboree is 360-degrees of fun, friends and fellowship with hands-on adventure that takes you places you never thought you’d go and challenge you to try things you never thought you could.
It’s the beginning of your own heroes’ journey that will challenge you to go farther than you ever thought possible. You’ll reach deeper and lift yourself higher to become the best version of yourself.
The next National Jamboree will be held at Summit Bechtel Reserve from July 22-31, 2026.

🏕️ Just a reminder, changes to The Buddy System went into effect September 1.
The buddy system is designed to provide an additional layer of safeguarding by ensuring no youth member is alone and that a buddy can get help in an emergency.
The buddy system is used whenever youth members are outside the line of sight of qualified adult leadership and specific activities where the buddy system is required for participation. Of note:
The adult unit leadership oversees and approves buddies.
Buddies are two and can also be three to prevent youth members from being alone.
A buddy pair cannot be mixed gender; where appropriate, a third youth must be added (for a buddy group of 3).
Youth siblings of the same gender may serve as buddies regardless of age with permission from their parents or legal guardians.
Except for siblings, it is recommended that the age gap between buddies be at most three years for all non-sleeping activities but must be no more than two years for all tenting.
When exceptional circumstances warrant, a parent or legal guardian may serve as a buddy for their child’s Scouting activities, but youth buddies meeting the above criteria, if available, are always preferred.
Learn more about The Buddy System by consulting the Guide to Safe Scouting.
